 The 2011 Expo to be held at the US Fish and Wildlife National Hatchery on the Icicle River in Leavenworth Washington.

    The Go Play Outside Alliance of Washington is proud to announce that  the 2011 Youth Outdoor Adventure Expo will be held at the US Fish and Wildlife National Hatchery on the Icicle River in Leavenworth Washington.  This is a place where youth and families can experience the great outdoors hands-on! This is a free educational event for outdoor organizations to come together and provide citizens of Washington state opportunities that communicate the relavance of fish and wildlife, habitat management, conservation, teach outdoor skills, encourage ethical behaviour and stewardship, and perpetuate Washington’s hunting and fishing heritage.

    Stay tuned for more information over the next several months.  In the meantime, check out the 2010 schedule of events for activities that are to be held across the state by our many groups, associations and partners.

     

     

Why Attend the Youth Outdoor Adventure Expo 2011? 

Expo will provide opportunities for wildlife enthusiasts and “wannabe” enthusiasts at all interest levels to get involved in the outdoors. Opportunities to learn entry-level and advanced outdoor skills and conservation concepts will be offered by experienced sportsmen and professionals. Expo activities focus on learning fish and wildlife related outdoor skills and the responsible, safe use of those skills; conservation and stewardship; and the ways in which one can get involved in the various outdoor recreational sports and natural resource conservation.
