Go Play Outside Alliance of Washington   (GoPAW)

Go Play Outside Alliance of Washington is a non-profit whose mission is to promote the concept of Eduation and Outreach to youth across the state of  Washington.  Through this process, youth are introduced to a variety of different experiences.  Many of these can be found within this series of webpages and those links provided by partnering groups, organizations and associations.

In order to provide funding for these events, GoPAW relies on donations and sponsors.  Many of the actual charitable donors are community based hunting and fishing clubs and their statewide parent organizations.  Additional funding comes through donations made by residents who hunt and fish, making donations when they purchase their licenses online or at a local license vendor in Washington state. 

Funds which are donated through the WDFW licensing system are placed in a youth outdoors account and transferred monthly to GoPAW as the contracting non-profit for the "Go Play Outside" initiative.  GoPAW uses 100% of these funds in support of youth based programs and activities, with out the usual adminstrative overhead.  100% of your donations are also fully tax deductable, however GoPAW suggests that any contribution be made in consultation of your tax adviser.

GoPAW, its membership and partners all understand that it is hard to come up with those extra dollars in this time of economic concern.  However, remember that even the smallest donation helps to get a child off the couch and out of the house to experience an outdoors activity that will last a lifetime and have very little costs, out side of time and energy.

FUND- A-EVENT OPPORTUNITIES

From time to time, GoPAW has special events that are looking for sponsors who can possibly provide a more significant donation.  This column will list these events as they arise and how you can help.  Know that when you give to these events, those monetary funds go 100% towards that specific event.  It is with help like yours that youth are able to participate in these type of outdoor, educational activities that share the traditions and heritage of our country as well and provide insights to our outdoor world and the envniormental concerns and ethics we all must remember.

GoPAW will provide a letter of Thanks immediately upon reciept of funds with the appropriate information for tax purposes.  GoPAW is registered with the Washington Secretary State and the IRS, meeting the requirements set forth under the 501c3 status.
